We are so excited that you will be joining us as we become Mrs & Mrs on the 27th July 2024, in Fulbourn, Cambridge. This site will hopefully provide all the information you need ahead of the big day itself.

It means so much that you will be part of this special day!

  • We are aiming for a fiesta of sunshine and merriment with all our nearest and dearest. It won’t be particularly formal but there will be a structure to the day with a lot of entertainment and feasting in-between.

Celebrations begin in the garden at 2:30, followed by a short ceremony, drinks, food and partying until the wee hours.

    Dress Code

There is no formal dress code, please be free to wear clothes which make you feel fabulous, the bolder and more colourful the better! The wedding is mostly outside and in tents so please bring some warmer layers for the evening. As we are in England we unfortunately can’t guarantee sunshine, so please be prepared incase there is a downpour.

  • We will be providing some alcohol and soft drinks but kindly ask you to bring your own booze as well, to keep the night rolling on.

If you could bring your own camping chair and/or picnic blanket as well that would be great.

  • Hester’s mum Gail and step-dad Hardin are kindly letting us have the wedding in their garden. The address is Mill Gardens, Stonebridge Lane, Fulbourn, Cambridge, CB21 5BW.

    Parking & Directions

If coming by car please park along Stonebridge Lane and then walk up the lane (marked blue on the map) to get to the house.

The lane is at the entrance to Fulbourn Fen Nature Reserve and through an open gate to the left handside off Stonebridge Lane. There will be balloons to follow.

Walk up the lane for about five minutes and you will end up at the house. Don’t worry there will be signs and people to direct you.

If you need to park closer for accessibility, please let us know and we can make a plan.

    Bus

There are also buses from Cambridge into Fulbourn, the 6 Bells stop will get you closest to the wedding.

  • Camping

The closest place to camp is Bounds campsite in Fulbourn. We recomend this for anyone camping or coming in a van. It is about a 10 minute walk to the wedding. Unfortunatly they don’t allow children there but there several more campsites further afield.

    Other places to stay

There are several Airbnb’s, local pubs with accomodation and Travel lodges nearby. The closest hotel to the train is the Travel Lodge Cambridge Central and this is accessible via taxi’s and buses if you don’t have a car.

Travelodge. If you are stuck let us know

  • We would be so greatful for any additional pairs of hands around the wedding. Please let us know if you could lend a hand helping set up on the Friday or Saturday before or assist with packing down on the Sunday.

It would be such a help!
